- : ResiMETA is an open-access, continuously updated database for trajectory-based resilience research. It compiles and organizes data from a wide range of studies investigating patterns of adaptation and recovery following stressful life events using longitudinal trajectory-based modeling. Some studies also examine psychological variables (so-called resilience factors) as predictors of resilient responses. The database only comprises aggregated data at study level, and no individual participant data. It encompasses information on population characteristics including sociocultural and socioeconomic variables, study design, methods, mental health outcomes, modelled trajectories and resilience factors. ResiMETA aims to provide a platform for knowledge transfer and collaborations on evidence syntheses in the field of resilience research. It provides a comprehensive overview of existing findings in the field. Furthermore researchers are encouraged to use ResiMETA for their own research projects by adding additional data or analyzing subsets of the included studies (e.g., responses to specific types of stressors or in specific age groups). The database is documented according to FAIR principles (findability, accessibility, interoperability, reusability) and accessible via the Open Science Framework (OSF; https://osf.io/xcwtk/).
