Description(s) of the Project

Description : MARP is a project aimed at investigating resilience during early adulthood. Participants were between 18 and 21 at inclusion and had to have experienced at least 3 life events before the age 18. At inclusion no psychiatric diagnosis was present. All participants were living in the region of the study centre at inclusion (Mainz, Germany) and recruitment took place between July 2016 and March 2019. The design of the study follows the "The Frequent Stressor and Mental Health Monitoring-Paradigm" (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34539510/), assessing mental health and stressor exposure every 3 months and conducting extensive battery assessments every 1.75 years. The battery assessments include a number of questionnaires (cognition, emotional regulation, personality a.o.), biological assessments (microbiome, hair cortisol among others), neuroimaging and behavioural data. At the moment no protocol has been published.
